Dublin Business Innovation Centre

The Dublin Business Innovation Centre (Dublin BIC) is founder and manager of the GEC. It was established in 1988 with private, public, educational and EU support. It is a not-for-profit entity with the objective of assisting entrepreneurs, start-up enterprises by combining the best of private and public sector experience.

Dublin BIC has provided assistance to over 381 start-up Dublin companies now employing in excess of 5,495 people. It is part of a network of 250 Business Innovation Centres throughout the world thereby linking companies instantly in new market areas. To convert an idea into a project, and the project into a business reality, the Dublin BIC offers business planning advice, venture advice to new business projects, incubation space through the GEC and access to seed capital to selected enterprises.
