AIB Seed Capital Fund

As raising finance to fund growth strategies is essential for many businesses, the AIB Seed Capital Fund was established in 2007 to provide venture capital for companies at the seed and early stages of development across a range of sectors throughout the Republic of Ireland. Dublin BIC which manages the GEC is an investment partner of the €53m AIB Seed Capital Fund which gives GEC tenants a route to funding.

The Fund supports entrepreneurs developing technology-led companies operating in the information and communications technology, financial services and other sectors.

The Fund may also participate in investment rounds of us to €1m+ with co-investors where a first-round investment amount of up to €250,000 is sought from the Fund. It has the capacity to make follow-on investments in later rounds to support expansion. The total investment allowed in one company is €1.5m.
